Operating Singapore’s first and largest Integrated Resort (IR), Resorts World Sentosa heralds a new era of lifestyle entertainment in Singapore. This 49-hectare, S$6.59 billion must-see destination on the holiday island of Sentosa currently features the Resorts World Casino™, four world class hotels, the region’s first Hollywood movie theme park Universal Studios Singapore, one of Asia’s largest ballrooms with much more to come.

During the visit, you will have the opportunity to learn how RFID technology is deployed by RWS to make sure that every single staff member in uniform is spiffily attired. By flashing an RFID tag, the system will recognise the staff member, the department that she/he is from, and her/his uniform size. A conveyor belt will sort through the many uniforms and within minutes, the right one will be picked out.

There will be a tour to explore the following areas in RWS :
(1) Staff Cafeteria – RFID staff card is used to track staff meal entitlement.
(2) Uniform System – RFID staff card is used to faciliate collection of uniform by staff before and after their shift.
(3) Convention Center – One of Southeast Asia’s largest, column-free ballroom.
(4) Festive Walk & Bullring – This is a public area where most of the retails and restaurants are located.

After the tour there will be a Q&A session cum refreshment and networking opportunities.
