We are having our inaugural session of the ‘ITMA Dialogue with the CEO’ event. As IT leaders in Singapore, you will appreciate the need for — and for many of you, be involved in — digital transformation within your respective organisations. In this session, come, hear, and engage in dialogue with the Chief Executive of IMDA, Mr. Tan Kiat How, as he shares how IMDA is leading digital transformation at a national level. To facilitate a conducive setting for this ‘fireside chat’, we will be holding it at a unique co-working venue called thebridge. Co-working is a recent phenomenon and digital disruptor in the office real estate sector. As a prelude to the main session, we will be having a short presentation on the rise of co-working and a tour of thebridge’s premises.
SYNOPSIS
The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) leads Singapore’s digital transformation with infocomm media.
To do this, IMDA will develop a dynamic digital economy and a cohesive digital society, driven by an exceptional infocomm media (ICM) ecosystem – by developing talent, strengthening business capabilities, and enhancing Singapore’s ICM infrastructure. IMDA also regulates the telecommunications and media sectors to safeguard consumer interests while fostering a pro-business environment, and enhances Singapore’s data protection regime through the Personal Data Protection Commission.
