DESCRIPTION:Pivoting on the success of two consecutive international e-Government events\, the Ministry of Finance and the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore\, in partnership with the Singapore Exhibition Services\, are proud to organise the eGov Global Exchange 2011. \n\n\n\nAbout the Event\n“Collaborative Government in a Connected World”\, the eGov Global Exchange \n \nPivoting on the success of two consecutive international e-Government events\, the Ministry of Finance and the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore\, in partnership with the Singapore Exhibition Services\, are proud to organise the eGov Global Exchange 2011. \nThemed “Collaborative Government in a Connected World”\, the eGov Global Exchange 2011 will bring together senior e-Government policy makers and practitioners from around the world\, to facilitate mutual learning and sharing\, providing participants with valuable insights on how governments can tackle emerging e-Government issues and opportunities to better serve the needs of their citizens\, and open opportunities to explore collaborations with an international audience. \nThe international event welcomes 700 attendees\, including ICT Ministers from ASEAN and the Middle East\, senior public sector officers\, business leaders\, and experts from global bodies that benchmark e-Government performances. It is held against the backdrop of the annual Infocomm Media Business Exchange (imbX)\, Asia’s largest infocomm and media event that draws 60\,000 international participants from governments\, the industry and media from about 100 countries and regions across Europe\, US\, Asia and the Middle East. \neGov Global Exchange 2011 will include presentations and knowledge exchanges by international e-Government experts\, as well as half-day site visits to view Singapore e-Government projects in the areas of e-Government innovation\, healthcare and education.
