SUMMARY:Singapore Green IT Adoption Survey
DESCRIPTION:Green IT holds significant growth potential as it not only entails energy savings across different business and industries\, but reduced resource consumption and the proper disposal of e-wastes. \n\n\n\nWhy Green IT?\nGreen IT holds significant growth potential as it not only entails energy savings across different business and industries\, but reduced resource consumption and the proper disposal of e-wastes. \nWith the adoption of green IT and energy efficient technology\, there is a potential of better energy efficiency and thus lower energy costs for businesses\, and more importantly as one of the key contributing components in making Singapore an energy efficient economy. \nGreen IT Adoption Index Survey\nTo further raise awareness and promote adoption in green IT practices under the overarching theme of Sustainable Development\, SBF together with IBM and Frost & Sullivan are jointly initiating a Green IT Adoption Index Survey amongst Singapore companies to help understand current level of adoption\, identify potential gaps and therefore measures to help address these gaps. As one of the participating companies in our green IT survey/events previously\, you are therefore cordially invited to participate in this online survey\, which will only take you 5-10 min to complete. \nEarly Bird Incentive\nIn appreciation of your efforts and participation\, respondents of each completed survey will be entitled to a complimentary copy of the book “Riding the Megatrend of Sustainability” featuring award-winners case studies that is jointly published by SBF and NUS Business School with the support of National Climate Change Secretariat. The publication of the book will coincide with the Singapore Sustainability Awards 2011 Presentation and Gala Dinner in July. \nComplimentary copies are available for the first 100 respondents who respond before 15 April on a first-come first-served basis. \nSTAND TO WIN AN APPLE IPAD!\nRespondents who send in the completed survey will be entered into a Lucky Draw and stand to walk away with 1 of the 3 units of Apple iPad we are giving away. \nClosing Date: 30 April 2011\nBesides the Green IT Adoption Index Survey\, SBF has also initiated the Singapore Green IT Awards. \nSingapore Green IT Awards\nThe Singapore Green IT Awards\, presented by SBF with IBM and ITE as the strategic partners and Frost & Sullivan as the knowledge partner\, aim to provide recognition to holistic green IT solutions\, which meet the needs of the business\, ecology and society.
