DESCRIPTION:The Personal Data Protection Commission would like to invite you to the 2018 Personal Data Protection (PDP) Seminar: Powering Innovation through Trust which will be held on 25 July 2018 (Wednesday) at the Raffles City Convention Centre. \n\n\n\nDear ITMA Members\, \nThe Personal Data Protection Commission would like to invite you to the 2018 Personal Data Protection (PDP) Seminar: Powering Innovation through Trust which will be held on 25 July 2018 (Wednesday) at the Raffles City Convention Centre. \nHeld on an annual basis\, the PDP seminar is an excellent platform for industry practitioners and thought leaders to share and learn about global developments and best practices in the domain of personal data protection. This year’s seminar features a full-day event\, with a line-up of leading local and international industry speakers\, two panel discussions in the morning\, followed by concurrent workshops in the afternoon. There will be a side event\, co-organised with the Centre for Information Policy Leadership (CIPL)\, on 26 July 2016\, designed to demonstrate accountability in practice through interactive discussions\, practical demonstrations and presentations. \nWe are also honoured to have Mr S Iswaran\, Minister for Communications and Information\, grace the event as the Guest of Honour. \nAs participation in the seminar is by invitation only\, all registrations will require a password assigned by the PDPC.
