More than 120 delegates had the opportunity to hear from compelling speakers from both the public and private sections. Key speakers at the Workshop in Singapore included: \nRADM(NS) Ronnie Tay – Chief Executive Officer\, Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore\nStephen Nunn – Global Managing Director\, Infrastructure Consulting\, Accenture\nChing Wei Hong – Group Chief Financial Officer\, Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Ltd\nYam Ah Mee – Chief Executive Officer\, Land Transport Authority \nDelegates who extended their attendance over at the Taipei leg of the workshop not only heard from distinguished speakers such as Stan Shih who established the Acer Group and the Taiwan GCIO Dr Yu-Hsieh Sung\, they were also actively engaged in several interactive breakout sessions. \nBesides the content rich sessions\, a major draw for participants of the Workshop was the extensive opportunities to network among their peers. \nThe 22nd CIO Workshop was also made more memorable when Typhoon Morakat passed through Taipei. The strong winds and pouring rain certainly did not dampen the spirits of the participants. On the contrary\, the situation inadvertently reinforced the Workshop theme\, and has shown that there are still opportunities to be seized despite the challenges and uncertainties that may lie ahead.
